A CHÂTEAU IN BURGUNDY
The Estate of Chateau de Meursault comprises 60 hectares
of vines, all situated in the Côte de Beaune, around
the towns of Aloxe Corton, Savigny-les-Beaune, Beaune, Pommard,
Volnay, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet.
Elegant building with white stones, the Chateau de Meursault is
one of the most visited estates in the Côte d'Or. It welcomes
around 20 000 visitors per year who come to taste and buy the
wine.
The cellars
spreading under the Chateau and its outbuildings,
some being evacuated by the Monks of Cîteaux, can contain
up to 700 000 bottles and more than 2 000 barrels.
